buddhist chanting Posted on June 24th

Buddha Daibutsu, Kamakura, Japan. This statue, made of bronze, is 11.40 m high and weights 93 t.

daimoku is chanting nam-myoho-renge-kyo which loosely translated means ‘i give myself and respect the law of karma or cause and effect’

this is a chant that the nichiren sect of buddhism practices. i enjoy doing this chant.
