I can’t wait for the Palin/Biden debate. Posted on September 16th

Republican presidential nominee Senator John M...

Let me just say that there was a time I had respect for John McCain.  This was when I first heard of him about 10 years ago. He seemed to be a genuine senator and cared about the issues that mattered to me.   At some point, he changed into more of the same.  This was probably about the time of the Iraq war vote.  When he capitulated to Bush and Cheney and was seen hugging Bush in that awkward hug, I  knew this man had sold out.  The McCain that is running for office is not the same John McCain that I respected and wanted to know more about 10 years ago.  He is indeed more of the same [failed Bush policies and priorities]

While Biden is an old name in Washington with plenty of connections to banks and credit card companies [he is from Delaware], his level of experience and grasp of the fundamentals is SO FAR out of Sarah Palin’s league that the debate between the two of them should prove to be interesting to watch.

My prediction? Sarah Palin will read from her teleprompter and will be incapable of answering anything extemporaneously.  Biden will wipe the floor with her.  While she would make a great neighbor or maybe a likable local politician, she is so unprepared for Washington and especially the White House that it would be like Legally Blond come to life if she were elected.

Here is Biden speaking yesterday on McCain and Biden and eviscerating McCain’s record and promises.
