A further education college is having to protect builders from wolf-whistling girls, in a reversal of traditional gender stereotypes.

what a fascinating reversal of roles and a fabulous evolution in gender politics.

here we have some sweet innocent schoolgirls sexually harassing construction workers instead of the reverse! how many times have you cringed when you saw a pretty girl walk by a wolf pack of whistling obnoxious men? obviously, these girls had either had enough OR they never learned that this harrassment is fixed in gender roles.

P9070276 either way,
this gives hope for a more balanced future.

could you imagine a world where the chances of a pretty female or a pretty male being whistled at are equal? a world where a man with a flat tire is just as scared of a car full of females stopping by to help him as the reverse?

camille paglia can pat herself on t he back for helping this interesting development along.

    the men started it!
  • Hmm... I tend to think I would rather live in a world where NO ONE is objectified and where EVERYONE feels confident that an offer to help is accepted as such without fear that there is an ulterior motive because there is no ulterior motive.

    <sigh> I can dream huh?! :)
  • oh i had no idea you were such an idealist. i guess i assume that _if_ some
harassment is going to happen, then every side should get a fair share of
it. call me a pessimist i guess.
