NYC Museum of Modern Art Visit #3

After trying twice in the last month or so to catch the Tim Burton exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art [MOMA], a friend gave in and became a member.  Membership has it privileges, among them not being subject to exhibits being 'sold-out' and being able to get guests into the sold out shows.  Finally, we got to see the Tim Burton exhibit and most agreed it was full of originality and a strong vein of creativity and mastery of light and dark.  

 

Personally, I more enjoyed the museum's permamant collection of Warhols, Pollocks, Lichtensteins, and Rothkos et. al.  So many works that I've seen in books over the years, I finally got to see in person.  Yes I need to get out more...
