In case you've not heard, google released buzz this week. Buzz is integrated into gmail and is meant to provide a quick and easy way to share pictures, links, and chat with people. When enabled on your account it sits unobtrusively underneath your inbox.
Why should you use Buzz?
If you think twitter is too noisy and confusing...
If you think Facebook is a waste of time with vampires, farms and mafia mishegas...
Then you might like Google Buzz. It's stripped down compared to Facebook but it is more user friendly out of the box than twitter.
All you need is a gmail account. If you don't have one then you should really consider it. Personally, I think gmail has the best spam filtering out there. I hear horror stories of people having dozens and dozens of spam emails in their inboxes. I never see this on gmail.
